AMTdirect Names Three Technology And Marketing Veterans To Board of Directors


CHARLOTTE, NC – AMTdirect has named veteran technology and marketing executives Michael Simmons, Mike Haaf and Richard Currier to its Board of Directors. The company is a leading provider of enterprise On-Demand Real Estate solutions for the retail, corporate and commercial real estate industries.

Simmons, has held executive posts in business development, financial strategies and operational management for more than 30 years. Specializing in growth companies, Simmons brings a successful background in software, including significant experience leading financial and ERP application companies such as IPNet Solutions, Platinum Software (now Epicor) and PowerCerv, as well as industry leading ADERANT, ERP software for law firms. A former Marine with service in Vietnam, he earned his MBA at Rutgers.

Haaf is Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy at Food Lion LLC, a food retailer and subsidiary of Belgium-based Delhaize Group. Mike is a high-impact, strategically focused senior executive who has spent his career providing visionary leadership to grow top and bottom line results. During his time with Food Lion, he has contributed to a 400% increase in market capitalization of the parent company. His experience with Food Lion includes a fundamental redesign of the company’s go-to-market strategy based on comprehensive customer research. Haaf has held executive marketing positions both at Office Depot and First USA Bank. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Currier, President of Park City Research, has 30 years experience in marketing and executive management of technology companies. Most recently, Mr. Currier was a Senior Partner with Atlanta's Technology Ventures. Previously, he was Chairman of the Park City Marketing Institute - the high-tech industry's go-to firm for marketing strategy development and creative solutions to the toughest marketing challenges. He personally crafted solutions for over 120 clients including PeopleSoft, IBM, Intel, Compaq, SSA, JD Edwards, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, S1, SPL and Clarus.

Mr. Currier specializes in company and product positioning along with strategy development and refinement. He has successfully launched 34 major new products for the seven companies in which he held senior management positions, including Chairman of Panoramic, President of Walker Interactive, President of Altergo Software, Vice President of Marketing at Software A.G. and Director of Marketing at Informatics. He has also served as Director of Data Communications Software Development at NASA headquarters, was a technology adviser to the Executives Offices of the President and a consultant to Treasury and Defense. Currier holds a bachelor’s in business and economics from Penn State.
